This value studies don't look complicated at all, but its difficult for me and takes a alot of time. Even if they are still improvable I already learned a lot doing them today. I also figured that it is hard to design a building while drawing. More value studies tomorrow, I really need to get better in this before I start playing around with color again. I also posted some designs I did the last weeks, while I was playing around with environment ideas.
THE BACHELOR
From now on I want to force myself to produce a piece of vis dev for my bachelor project every day. I figured that I have to practice and try out a lot of different looks for the environment before I can start choosing my favourite and begin to model. It was a productive day today and Im quite happy with the "finished" artwork. Still this is only the start and there is probably still a lot to change, but I think its better to go on and produce/ practice more then try making one piece perfect. I will post my developping process here, so feel free to look it up once in a while. I would be more than happy to hear what you are thinking or your ideas for changes.
So this is my late night #inktober post for today. I definitely need to practice portraits, I know its not the best Michael C Hall painting, but its good to go out of the comfort zone :P. I just wanted to show some love for this great show. With this I will close the art sector for today and watch some Dexter, I have still some episodes left before the end...yeah!
